The Games and Amusements Board (GAB) on Monday called on the World Boxing Organization (WBO) to conduct a review on the officiating in Manny Pacquiao's fight with Jeff Horn. 

 

In a letter addressed to WBO president Francisco Valcarcel, GAB said they want to echo the stand of boxing followers on Australian Jeff Horn's victory over Manny Pacquiao.

 

"While we respect the decision, we are constrained to request for a thorough review by the WBO for possible miscalls of the referee where some deductions were not made and of the judges in their judging that have caused varying opinions on their objectivity," the letter read.

• 82% of Metro Manila residents feel safer because of war against illegal drugs.
• Releasing the names of hundreds of public officials allegedly involved in illegal drugs
• Mega Drug Abuse Treatment and Rehabilitation Center in Nueva Ecija built
• To prevent drug trade inside the Bilibid Prison, PNP Special Action Forces (SAF) deployed to guard the national penitentiary
• President Rodrigo Duterte signed executive order no 6. on Oct 14,2016 which instutionalized the 8888 Citizen’s Complaint Hotline and Complaint Center.
• 911 National Emergency Hotline launched nationwide.
• Implementing Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Several allies of the President gave him a high grade. Example here is Senator Tito Sotto who gave him 8 out of 10 grade, for giving a solution to the problem against illegal drugs and another one is Senator Koko Pimentel who gave a grade of 8.5 to 9 for his performance as a President. 

As the saying goes "you can't please everybody" here are some of the Senators who opposes or disagree's with the President:
Senator Risa Hontiveros who labeled Duterte's presidency as "dangerous year to be a woman" and "a year of national grieving" due to the extrajudicial killings caused by the administration against illegal drugs and crimes.

Another one is Senator Leila De Lima who said; "Isang taong mga kasinungalingan. Isang taong panggigipit. Isang taong pagmumura at pambabastos. Isang taong mga pangakong napako. Lalo na yung mga kasinungalingan. Fake cases. Lalo na itong mga paratang sa akin. Fake cases, fake news,”

ESCUDERO, SASALI SA GABINETE NI DUTERTE?

Tanong ng bayan ngayon kung anu ang plano ni Sen. Chiz Escudero ngayong malapit ng matapos ang termino nito bilang senador. Dalawang taon na lamang at matatapos na ang termino nito. Maraming haka-haka kung ito ba ay aalokan ng Pangulo ng special position sa kanyang gabinete. Ngunit hindi paman din ito naalokan ng Pangulo ay agad na nitong sinagot ang tanong ng bayan.

“Hindi rin, dahil maraming sakit ng ulo.” Ani Sen. Escudero. “ Pansin mo lahat ng DOJ Secretary palaging may issue.” Dagdag pa ng senador.

Iilan sa mga naging DOJ Secretary na nabanggit ng senador ay sina Secretary Raul Gonzales, Leila De Lima, at si Sec. Vitaliano Aguirre II na nagkaroon din ng kanya-kanyang issue nung sila pa ang mga nakaupo sa naturang posisyon.

Agad naman kinlaro ng matalinong senador na wala pa naman dawng naging alok sa kanya ang Pangulo na pasabilang ito sa gabinete.

“Magre-retire. Smell the flowers.” Ang naging kasagutan ni Escudero kung sakaling matapos na ang termino nito sa pagaka senador.

PACQUIAO, NAAGAWAN NG TITULO!

Panalo ang Australian Boxer na si Jeff Horn sa isang unanimous decision laban sa ating pambansang kamao na si Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao. Nakuha ni Horn ang bagong titulo sa WBO welterweight world title na mula kay PacMan.

Naging mainit ang pagtanggap ng pumasok ang ating pambansang kamao na may 11-time world champion title sa Suncorp Stadium kamakailan lang. Umabot sa 50, 000 ka-tao ang nanood sa naturang laban. Naging sentro at paborito si PacMan ng mga manonood habang sinisigaw ng mga tao ang pangalan nito. Gayunpaman, pinangungunahan ni Pacquiao ang huling round ng laro, at naging mas mainit ang palitan ng suntukan ng dalawang kupunan.

Bago paman ang laro ng Pac-Horn ay hinulaan na ng long-term trainer ni Pacquiao na si Freddie Roach na magiging maikli lamang ang labanan ng dalawa, ngunit si Horn na wala pang naging talo sa kanyang mga naging laban na umabot na sa 17 professional fights- ay mas naging seryoso at tutok sa naturang labanan. Binigyan umano nito ng pressure ang bawat rounds ng laro na humantong sa madaliang paggamot ni Pacman sa loob ng pang 6-7 rounds.

Si Horn ay 29 anyos lamang na dating guro ang tinanghal na bagong WBO Welterweight champion.
